I relocated to Carrabelle from Norcross, Georgia in 1987. At that time, I was ending a career as a Commercial Construction Estimator- Project Manager. I could not believe how wonderful Carrabelle was after having lived in Metro-Atlanta. It was like a fresh, cool, glass of ice water after having been in the hot sun mowing grass in August.
I purchased the Beachside Motel on Carrabelle Beach and settled in until sold in 1994. At that time, I ventured onto St. George Island and got involved in the rental business. I became fascinated with the vacation/real estate industry, and thus began my career as a Realtor®, achieving multiple top awards throughout the years for my success in the field.
Recently, I repositioned back to the Atlanta, Georgia area in order to be near my children and grandchildren, however I still have one foot and part of my heart in Carrabelle.
